I don't say this lightly but Man Royale is one of the best gay hardcore sites around at the moment. Why do I say that? Well, for me it is because there is something I just cant put a finger on, something special, magical almost, about the membership area. I think it's to do with the guys; they are the driving force behind what is actually a pretty straightforward site.

You've got a set of videos with galleries, and a model index. That's about it. OK, so you can make comments and rate the content as you go, there is a page showing you what is top rated and there is a model index, but even that simply lists guys and their scenes. There's nothing extra or fancy, no forum or guestbook, no blog that's immediately obvious and not a lot of information about the guys or the scenes. And yet it all works perfectly.

You've got some top names in the collection of 106 guys. (I am thinking particularly of Tyler Sweet, currently king of the twinks IMHO; hes not exclusive to this site and only makes one appearance but it's one you won't forget in a hurry.) And you have some others who I don't recognise but who are chosen because they can, at the drop of a hat or pair of briefs, rival anything the likes of Bel Ami could come up with. I'd even go so far as to say that these guys are up there with the new William Higgins style of model. And I will keep coming back to the fact that for me it is the models who make the site what it is. Awesome.

The scenes are played out in a kind of standard way thug there is a leaning towards moves with scenarios, rather than simply getting the film started with a quick kiss and a BJ, as so many other sites do. You've got neat settings, classy locations, mainly indoors but with showers and seductions included, and you have good music fading in to natural sound. Visually the scene are very good looking and although the downloads favour fast connections (with some huge files, the biggest I've encountered) you will be able to stream the standard version on a mid-range connection with no trouble. The Mp4 also downloaded nice and fast and for both this and the medium stream, the full screen versions were just fine with no pixilation.

So, what you're looking at here are top quality movies with some very special models, some great filmmaking and photography, a collection that is exclusive and being updated and a great value experience with some very special models. Ok, so there's not a lot more than the movies, galleries and hot guys, and there are a few too many adverts for my liking but all in all, this is certainly a site to rave about.
