The first thing that leaps out at you as you check out the tour and signup is the price of the site. This is the higher end of the monthly membership scale for sure at over $50.00 per month if you take the monthly option. But, if you look at the annual one then you see you are paying only $30.00 per month, which is more standard for a monthly fee. So, it looks like the folk at Hardtied want you to take the subject matter as seriously as they do; sign up for a whole year and you get rewarded by a more standard signup price.

And, once inside, what you find is exactly what you were promised, and what you saw on the tour. Wall to wall ropes and chains, dungeons, machines, gags, binds, ties, blindfolds, clamps and other devices, and a line-up of women willing to let their bodies be used for any kind of BDSM action. That action starts on the home page and works through 363 movies.

Each movie comes in parts and you are able to stream the full thing or each of the four sections. There was only one version for streaming, that I could find, and no choice of anything smaller or higher, so a good mid-range connection is advised. The screen is big, the quality is fine and you can rate the scene as you watch it. It might take a while to get started depending on your set-up, but once running you should be fine. Each full scene ran for around 35 to 40 minutes.

Beneath the stream was the download area and here I found two qualities for download in MP4 and one for mobile devices, though older movies may not have the same choices and the same higher resolutions. There were no separate parts (as in no one minute clips or such like), but you can download the section of each scene in their own files. Movies start with a chat to the models so you get to know them and how they feel and then they take their time getting you slowly and tantalisingly through the bondage and the fetish action.

When you click to a part you should find images for that section and these are displayed beneath the main screen. Click one for a new tab to open and there you have the scaled down image at 366 x 533 (from an original of 1,632 x 2,464 in the more recent sets) which is good quality and well taken. There are simple navigation tools for browsing the galleries and zip files of the sets are also available.

There are a few other things to note at Hardtied, namely the forum. This opens in a new tab or window and takes you to Intersec Interactive where each site from the company has its own section of the forum and its own amount of posts. Apart from the rates you can give movies this seems to be the only interactive options you have here, though you can apply to be a model if you want. The site does offer top rated lists in sidebars on some pages, though these made the pages too wide for my screen. On the other side was a link to Live Shows but this was another site and asked me for another signup to access it.
