The thing about Gay Depot is that it's for guys who want to view porn, get off and get out. There's nothing too complicated (once you get used to the way the system runs), and there are not many details about each video. It's not one of those exclusive sites where you have a model index, facts and figures where you can get to know the models and interact, apart from the standard interactive functions. This means it's purely and simply a depository of gay porn. Nice and easy and perfect for when you want something hard and humping but you're not sure what.

You've got a massive collection of guys here, with over 3,888 models listed by name in the search boxes. You will find some pornstars and amateurs, black guys, white, Asian, Chinese, Latina, European and from the USA. It's truly worldwide in that respect, and you also find a good variety of porn. There are solos, but most of what I found was hardcore. At the time of my visit there were loads of interracial and ebony videos at the top of the recent list, and beyond that, you start to find all kinds of hot stuff, including uniforms, twinks, teens, threesomes, creampie, older/younger, bears, dads, leather and so on. A category list, which needs some attention, helps, but that was one of the things I had to get used to, and there's not a lot of instruction on how to use the site. Play with it on the tour, and you'll see what you're going to get inside.

As for the videos, they may not be exclusive, but there are some in HD, and generally, the quality is good. There was only one stream option, and that was quick to play but not top quality. It's all still viewable though, and easy to put up with. The top res I found in the download options was at 1,920 x 1,080 HD, so that was fine, and then there were mobile Mp4 files per scenes too and a standard definition version. Older movies, from 2012 when the first piece of content is dated, may not have all these options. Movies ran for an average of 20 minutes, you can jump through the streams and downloading was easy, with no restrictions that I found.

A quick word on the content count. I checked another review from two years ago, and the total of movies found then was more than I found today. I counted 6,326 videos across numbered index pages; fewer than two years ago. Maybe it was a miscount back then. Either way, there's plenty here to get off with and masses of variety. But you do only have videos, there are no galleries, no model index and no bonuses.

You have over 100 studios represented here, such as Bareback Men, Gentleman's Video, Miami Studios and many others I'd not heard of. The quality of their productions may change because I got the feeling that some of these were small studios with lower production values than others.

And now for the downsides, which left me very frustrated. Navigation at Gay Depot needs looking at, and I don't think it was just me being dim. Each time a page opens, the video at the top starts to play; no great issue, but the sound can be annoying when you are trying to search, and that's where I had my first issue. I entered a term in the category list (and there are loads of categories in the drop-down to choose), and it showed up. You can add more, so, threesomes, twinks, interracial, whatever, and the site should filter those results. All I saw was the list of categories I'd chosen and no way to click 'search', but be patient. The page refreshed automatically but didn't bring me results, only a new movie. I tried with just one search term and found better results, but some of those on the list are clearly meant for a straight site. (Lesbian, big tits etc.) Whatever is the most recent video started playing at the top and then there were sample shots for the others. You get there in the end but to start with I found it annoying.
