Although the premise of first-time auditions is not a new one, the thing that makes Boys Casting is different from other sites that take this theme because the boys they are casting are so varied. Some sites rely on only young twinks as their main attractions, but here you have all kinds of guys including muscled jocks, younger boys, smooth guys, straight men, straight looking men, and all stops in between. What is consistent throughout the episodes though is that you get to know more about the boys because they get interviewed. Each of the scenes will start off with some chat, which may be to camera or may just be between the boy and Bruce our host, but it's a good way of getting to find out more about the guys you're about to see take their audition.

And boy, does Bruce put them through their paces! This is more than just a solo jerk off in front of a camera content, this is full on, hard-core sex. But the fact that these boys may be doing this for the first time doesn't mean that you get amateur performances. It is generally very rewarding viewing which is nice and horny and given a good reality flavor. There are WMV versions here at a top resolution of 2,032 kbps at 720 x 480. There are MPG versions too, which have a couple of choices of resolution, and in some movies you will also find files that are suitable for iPods and other handheld devices. This means that viewing any of the 91 videos currently on offer is nice and simple. They come in clips, so you can jump around the action if you want, or you can download the full versions. Some of these files are large, at over 300 MPs in size, but the download transfer rate was around 70 K, which was reasonable. Video filming is good, you don't miss out on any of the action, the camera moves around, you get long shots and you getting close in on the amateur guys just when you feel you want to.

With the videos come sets of screen caps. Unlike many sites, these are not just a collection of very similar looking shots, these are small collections of the more important shots from each movie, so you don't have hundreds to wade through. You will find that they all click up to a reasonable size of around 720 x 480 and are taken from the digital, high-definition camera so you wont find too much blurring. There are also 42 digital still galleries to be had, many of which featured a guy called Frank. He was nice enough, but there are plenty of other guys to look at too. These galleries have various amounts of images that click up to 600 by 800 in size.

There were a couple of interactive features missing at Boys Casting, and in the other sites. It would be nice to see an add to favorites area and a model index. It would be nice to know more about these guys, though you do pick up a lot of information about them if you listen to the interviews. Generally speaking though the site does well on navigation: It easy to find your way around thanks to the static top menu which links you easily into each area of the site, videos, pictures and bonuses. It is also easy to slip into the bonus areas and, as each one is linked, you can jump backwards and forwards between sites as you explore.

The well designed pages are nice and clear, they are colorful and the sample images are a good size and focused. There is a certain amount of information per episode, and you're told who's appearing in each one. I didn't see any uploads dates. What you have then are well-made episodes that are easy to access, good viewing options, good-quality filming and plenty of bonus content, all of which is also easy to access.
